The University of Michigan School of LSA required a logo and style guide for their new center, Research for Indigenous Social Action and Equity. After thoughtful research, we made sure to pay homage to the culture of Indigenous Peoples' by combining common symbolisms between various tribes. The radial pattern is inspired by basket weaving and patterns used in Indigenous art pieces. The brand colors reflect the medicine wheel, a sacred symbol for many tribes that represents health, healing, and the cycles of life.
